For
over 60 years, KIMLAN SOY SAUCE

Soy
Sauce is an indispensable seasoner in Oriental cooking, especially
traditional Chinese cooking. KIMLAN,
established in 1936, is a pioneer, and one of the most experienced
soy sauce manufacturers in Taiwan, and has grown to become Taiwan's
most popular soy sauce. As it has grown, production facilities
were constantly being expanded - first in 1957, then in 1967,
and again in 1970. Expansion could not keep up with the demand,
and in 1977, a totally new plant was built in TaoYaun, Taiwan.
This plant underwent an extensive remodeling, and modernizing
in 1991. In 1998, KIMLAN opened its first plant in Mainland China,
and has a second plant in China nearing completion. With this
most recent expansion, KIMLAN
will continue its role as the leading producer of China's favorite
premium soy sauce well into the new millennium.
As
the flavor of a fine wine takes time to develop, the exquisite
taste of authentic KIMLAN
soy sauce cannot be hurried. Unlike the shortcut methods used
to produce brewed or imitations, KIMLAN
soy sauce begins by combining soybeans, roasted wheat, salt and
water. This mix is then fermented six to ten months resulting
in KIMLAN' S
mellow flavor, and less salty taste.
In
addition to soy sauce, KIMLAN
makes over 50 kinds of products - pickled vegetables, wheat gluten,
teriyaki sauce, etc. KIMLAN
has products for the retail, as well as, the food service industries.
