"EVALUATION OF A METHOD OF TENOLYSIS & CAPSULOTOMY UTILIZED IN COMPLEX HAND DISABILITY DUE TO TRAUMA/DISEASE"
By: JOHN J. O'HARA, M.D. & JAN STONE, O.T.R., C.H.T.

This 33 minute surgical program incorporates the techniques developed by Jim Hunter M.D. & Lawrence Schneider M.D. with modifications by John O'Hara M.D.

In addition to the surgical procedure, a detailed summary of results and a demonstration of preop and late postoperative motion over a period of 13 years is presented.

Diagnosis: This patient had sustained a crush injury to the right index finger approx. 22 months before this surgery. The comminuted fracture of the proximal phalanx went on to non-union and required bone grafting and a mini-plate to maintain the reduction and to achieve healing.
